Man missing in Far North Queensland after boat found adrift
Queensland police say they have "no idea what's happened" to a fisherman whose boat was found drifting in the mouth of the Johnston River south of Cairns late yesterday.Police said the 55-year-old man launched his 5.6-metre boat alone from Mourilyan Harbour, south of Cairns, around 6:00am on Tuesday.

An air and sea search is under way off the central Queensland coast after two men attempted to swim to their boat overnight, with only one making it back to the vessel.
Authorities were notified of the missing 60-year-old man about 3am on Tuesday and a search was launched involving the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue and Yeppoon Coast Guard.
The position of the incident was reported as 15 kilometres north of Rosslyn Bay and north-west of North Keppel Island.
Initial information indicates the two were trying to swim out to their seven-metre boat, which was "dragging its anchor" near Conical Rocks, police said.
"One of the men, a 62-year-old, made it to the vessel, however, the other man did not reach it and remains missing."
Police had earlier believed the two men fell overboard and only one man was able to swim back to the vessel.
