He and one of his passengers, a 28-year-old Pentland Hills man, stayed at the scene while Mr Janson allegedly left on foot.

The Pentland Hills man is facing one count of murder and did not make an application for bail in court this morning.

Mr Janson was remanded in custody and will face court again for a committal mention in October.
