A second man has been charged with the murder of Adelaide bashing victim Mark Boyce, more than a year after a Hells Angels bikie was convicted for his role in the crime.

Mark Boyce, 36, suffered a fatal brain injury when he was beaten outside his home on Hill Street at Elizabeth South, in Adelaide's northern suburbs, in January 2017.

His life support was turned off eight days after he was attacked.

In July 2019, Hells Angels bikie Joshua Roy Grant was found guilty of Mr Boyce's murder by a Supreme Court jury and sentenced to at least 20 years in prison.

Today, SA Police arrested and charged a 31-year-old Gulfview Heights man with murder.

Police allege three men travelled to and from Mr Boyce's address, in two vehicles, before and after the attack.

They said the man charged this morning was the owner of one of those vehicles — a Toyota Echo, which was found cut up, burned and buried four metres underground on a Hells Angels Motorcycle Club property at Ponde in the Murraylands.

He is in custody at the Adelaide City Watchhouse and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court.

Detective Superintendent Des Bray said police had searched the man's Gulf View home and seized a number of items.

But police are still looking for the other vehicle — a 2013 silver Toyota RAV4, with licence plate S867AVO.

"When we did a press release shortly after Mark's murder, that vehicle disappeared from our roads and hasn't been seen since," Superintendent Bray said.

"It hasn't been re-registered, it hasn't been reported stolen, there hasn't been any insurance claims and the like lodged for its disappearance.

"We would appeal to anybody who knows the location of that vehicle [and] has any information at all about this murder."

He said the owner of that car is the father of one of the three suspects.

Police said detectives are also are examining the role of another person, who may have helped identify Mr Boyce.

"This has been a challenging and lengthy inquiry, which will continue as we seek to build a brief of evidence against the third suspect," Superintendent Bray said.

Mr Bray said it was "critically important" that a person who called Crime Stoppers in 2017 with detailed information about the murder call the hotline again on 1800 333 000.
