Premier Daniel Andrews offered his condolences to the families of the 17 Victorians who have died from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

"This will be an incredibly difficult time for them and I want them to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers," he told this morning's press conference.

There are now 634 Victorians in hospital, including 43 people in Intensive Care.

Of these, 26 are on ventilators.
