“Because of our strong health response, we are able to see the economy recover and start to recover in Queensland,” she said.

“That is not happening in other countries around the world”.

She noted her government was “keeping a very close eye on Victoria” and said it was great to see New South Wales was enjoying low case numbers.

“COVID is going to be with us for a while,” she said.
