A mattress with the words 'naughty Gladys' painted on it was found in a western Sydney street as locals weigh in on the relationship scandal of the NSW premier.

An image posted on to the Street Bounty - Inner West (Sydney) Facebook page on Wednesday showed the 'street art' in Marrickville.

The picture was shared by a local who was quick to point out it wasn't her handiwork.

The mattress was deliberately dumped on Llewellyn Street, across from the highly utilised Enmore pool in the inner-west suburb Marrickville.

The 'street art' was a direct reference to the NSW premier, who is under intense pressure to keep her job after the bombshell revelation on Monday that she was in a secret relationship with disgraced MP Daryl Maguire for five years.
