A 30-year-old woman has drowned while kayaking in Queensland on a warm day.

Emergency services were called to Forgan Road boat ramp on Lake Samsonvale at Joyner, north-west Brisbane, at about 2.40pm on Friday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia paramedics responded to an 'immersion' incident.
