It has been just a few days since Queensland confirmed it will soon open its borders to people from greater Sydney and Victoria, and excited tourists have already booked a Noosa property charging $100,000 a week over the Christmas period.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk confirmed on Tuesday the borders would be open to all of New South Wales from December 1, then a day later said borders to Victoria would also open on that date.

Plane-loads of visitors from Melbourne and Sydney are due to arrive at Sunshine Coast Airport when restrictions ease.

"It would have been hard to come back from that."
