The pursuit down Veterans Road ended in a fiery crash of the vehicle when Hallam drove through a field at the end of the road and into some woods. The vehicle purportedly caught on fire when it hit a tree. Mosher said the pursuit began when deputies spotted a Chevrolet Suburban that had been reported stolen March 1 leaving a gas station in Nevada and tried to stop the driver. DMX was hospitalized last week and is reportedly in critical condition following a heart attack after an apparent drug overdose.

Three teenagers have been arrested following a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle which ended when officers deployed road spikes.

Just after 12:00am today SA Police (SAPOL) patrols saw a stolen Toyota sedan travelling east along Grand Junction Road at Rosewater, about 10 kilometres north-west of Adelaide.

The police helicopter followed the car as it travelled towards North Adelaide, where officers deployed road spikes at the intersection of Mills and Hill streets.

SAPOL said the driver hit a parked police car as he tried to avoid the spikes, before driving away.

Alfred George Morin III, 41, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, vehicle theft, evading, and resisting arrest . At 1:42 p.m. Wednesday, the Roseville Police Department began pursuing Morin who was driving a stolen 2013 Honda Accord, according to Joshua Oglesby, public information officer for Morin entered Sutter County via Howsley Road and headed northbound on Highway 99. At that point, CHP took over the pursuit . Morin continued into Yuba City where a spike strip was deployed at Highway 99 and Highway 113. Morin avoided it by driving around the spike strip.

Police continued to follow the car as it drove towards the Port River Expressway at Wingfield, where officers again deployed spikes.

The driver left the road to avoid the spikes, but came to a stop when he crashed into a road sign.

SAPOL said the alleged driver, an 18-year-old man from Taperoo, was arrested a short distance away, where he was seen climbing into an industrial bin.

His two passengers, a 19-year-old woman from Taperoo and a 17-year-old boy from Taperoo, remained in the car.

All three were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

SAPOL reported that the 18-year-old was charged with illegal use and dangerous driving, and was refused bail. He will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

The 17-year-old was charged with illegal use and bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Youth Court on May 13.

The woman is expected to be charged with illegal use.
