Josh Duggar's Sister Jill Issues First Public Statement After His Arrest, Says It's 'Very Sad' While it is currently unclear why Duggar was arrested or what charges he faces, the records show that the 33-year-old is currently being held without bail and was booked into jail in Washington County at around 1:15 p.m. local time on Thursday. Newsweek reached out to the U.S. Marshals Service for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication. Josh Duggar's arrest comes less than a week after his wife, Anna, announced that she is pregnant with the couple's seventh child.

Scouts from the NBA side Toronto Raptors watched on from quarantine in Sydney as Adelaide 36ers youngster Josh Giddey became the youngest Australian in NBL history to record a triple-double.

I think, Josh Giddey (signed with the Adelaide 36ers on 12 March 2020) is one of the best international prospects for the 2021 NBA Draft. In January 2020, he earned MVP honors in the NBA Global Academy. His team won the Torneo Junior Ciutat de L'Hospitalet in Barcelona. This young guy made his debut for Australia National Basketball Team during 2021 FIBA Asia Cup qualification against Hong Kong and he played with 11 points, six assists and three rebounds in just 11 minutes. Giddey became the youngest player to play for the National Senior Team since Ben Simmons (Simmons

Adelaide star Josh Giddey has delivered another triple-double, this time in front of NBA scouts, to spearhead the 36ers to a dramatic 97-88 overtime victory over the Sydney Kings.

While Giddey shone in the spotlight, skipper Daniel Johnson exploded with 13 points in the extra period in a gutsy effort that also keeps their NBL finals hopes alive.

Johnson - and the 36ers' season - looked dead and buried when the visitors fell behind by 16 points midway through the quarter at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday afternoon.

2020-21 NBA MVP Ladder: Chris Paul and Stephen Curry crack the top five as the season draws to a close Two newcomers crack our MVP Ladder in Chris Paul and Stephen Curry. Where did they each land? Who else rounds out the top five? Is Nikola Jokic still the front-runner? Here's how our NBA.com Staff sees the MVP race shaping up with less than a month remaining in the regular season. As always, this was a collaborative effort between four members of our NBA.com Staff: Carlan Gay (@TheCarlanGay), Gilbert McGregor (@GMcGregor21), Kane Pitman (@KanePitman) and myself (@crabdribbles). We each sent in our top-five for MVP right now and used a point system — one point for a first-place vote, two points for a second-place vote, three points for a third-place vote and so on — to come up with the following list.

Two Raptors scouts including Raptors Director of Global Scouting Patrick Engelbrecht have reportedly ventured down to Australia to watch NBA lottery-bound prospect Josh Giddey , according to The Daily Telegraph. "The fact Engelbrecht and his co-worker have flown halfway around He's ranked as the 11th best prospect in this year's draft according to Sports Illustrated's Jeremy Woo. " Giddey has done wonders for his stock over the past couple months, to the point where his productivity in the NBL is impossible to ignore. He’s arguably the best passer in the draft, has great size, thinks the game to an

Adelaide 36ers coach Conner Henry has revealed more NBA scouts are preparing to travel to Australia to watch NBL stars like 36ers draft-bound rookie Josh Giddey . Just a week after Giddey It follows the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors, who have both spent time in Australia in the past few weeks monitoring the country’s top basketball talent. “Golden State have been in the country for a couple of months scouting (Justinian) Jessup down in Illawarra, so they have seen Josh play

But Adelaide roared back in the third quarter and forced overtime before Johnson, who shot 2-13 in regular time, took over in the extra period with three long-range bombs.

Johnson finished with a team-high 20 points and eight rebounds, while Giddey also filled up the box score with 11 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds to show why he is rated a top-10 pick in the draft.

Giddey, who earlier this year became the youngest player in league history to record back-to-back triple-doubles, insists he is focused on leading his team in a late-season push for a finals spot.

"I knew they were here but it didn't really impact the way I played or what I was trying to do out there. The stats are cool, but for me it's about wins," Giddey said.

"We've strung three in a row together, so if we can keep that rolling … we're trying to make a push. I think there's 4-5 teams in that middle pack that are trying to crack the top four."

Australian guard Josh Giddey is entering the 2021 NBA draft pool. Giddey has averaged 11.1 points, 7.4 assists and 7.1 rebounds per game with the Adelaide 36ers in Australia's National Basketball League this season Between his frame (6'7", 192 lbs) and his ability to run an offense, it's not hard to see why the Australian is considered such a tantalizing prospect. Given his age, he might not be done growing either. Giddey talked to Mike Schmitz of ESPN about what he can provide to an NBA team: "With my size, being able to be versatile, playing 1 through 3, guarding 1 through 3. I'm

Australian rising star Josh Giddey joined Courtside Huddle to talk all things NBL, Australian Boomers, Olympics and his path to the NBA . "Obviously the following that LaMelo carries with him obviously brought a lot of exposure and stuff to the NBL, and I think because of that it would only benefit me with having NBA scouts , GMs execs watching this league. "I think for me personally to be at a professional environment at 18 years old was going to benefit me more than being in a college environment.

Adelaide coach Connor Henry said Giddey is playing at an extremely high level.

"His confidence is there. The only time I try and wind him back is when he turns the ball over and he realises the times he has to make a few betters decisions," he said.

"But I have to also let him be him. That's part of his elite skill level."

Former Kings big man Issac Humphries also had 11 rebounds, nine boards and six blocks in the win, which improves their record to 13-16 and well within sight of the top four.

Sydney got 25 points and seven rebounds from import Jarell Martin, star Casper Ware had 17 points and eight assists, while Jordan Hunter had 13 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

But it was their season-long problems on the defensive glass that came back to haunt them, giving up 20 offensive rebounds that resulted in a decisive 33-8 disadvantage in the second-chance points.

The Kings held a commanding 47-34 lead at halftime off the back of Martin's dominance, and looked like running away with the contest when they went up by 16 points.

But the 36ers stormed back into the contest with a 24-8 run to end the period, including a buzzer-beating bomb from Tony Crocker to level the scores at the final change.

The offence from both teams went up a notch in a heart-stopping fourth that went down to the wire, with Daniel Kickert missing what would've been a game-winning shot on the final play.

"I wanna be upset, but the guys are exhausted," Kings coach Adam Forde said.
