Jake began filming the Channel Nine reality show in August, and temporarily called Sydney home until December.
The reality star has since teamed up with OpenTable, to encourage Australians to spend more time with their mums this Mother's Day.
'2020 was a big year for me and that's one of the main reasons I jumped on board as ambassador for this,' Jake explained.
'Especially being from Victoria, we were in lockdown for six months of the year and I didn't get to spend as much time with my mum as I would have like to.'
It comes as OpenTable released new research to show that one in five (22 per cent) Aussies want to see their mum more frequently.
