A paedophile who was arrested following a UK-wide investigation by Northamptonshire Police has been jailed for almost eight years. "Scott Ayers showed an organised approach to possessing , distributing and attempting to facilitate sexual touching of a child . The offences for which he has been found guilty are the worst I have come across during my time as a police officer. This investigation has highlighted an organised crime approach to sexually assaulting young children who are the most vulnerable people in society."

An Adelaide paedophile who was the administrator of a child abuse website pleads guilty to offences including possessing and sharing child exploitation material. Gray, from Wynn Vale in Adelaide's north-east, was arrested in May by the SA Joint Anti- Child Exploitation Team (JACET). At the time, police alleged he was using a social networking app to spread child exploitation material. Gray admitted to multiple counts of being an administrator of a website used to distribute child exploitation material.

The District Court heard Wonnocott had more than 11,000 images of child exploitation, ranging from material in categories one to five, in his possession.

During sentencing, Judge Rauf Soulio said the material showed he had created his own child exploitation material, with the faces of his extended family put onto those of children.

"Your offending in that regard is somewhat unusual in that you have manipulated existing material by planting new faces onto the pictures for your own gratification," he said.

"That offending is distasteful and disturbing."

The court heard he accepted responsibility for his offending and admitted his "deviant sexual behaviour" was exacerbated by methamphetamine consumption.

Judge Soulio said Wonnocott denied sexually assaulting any children.

Four children as young as two-months-old were rescued from paedophile rings. Police investigators believe the victims knew or were related to their abusers. Images of the abuse were sent around the world to paedophiles on the dark web. Four children , one as young as two-months-old old, have been filmed being raped before the videos were distributed to sick paedophiles all over the world. Sixteen people were charged with 728 sexual abuse and child exploitation offences after a two-year investigation by the Australian Federal Police in conjunction with the US Department of Homeland Security.

A paedophile who collected over 1,000 illicit images despite working at the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) has been jailed for one year. Smith had posed as a 17-year-old girl called Sarah London on the group, which lets users discuss child exploitation said Jonathan Harley, prosecuting. He accessed 1,076 illicit images of children , 803 of which were deleted, an examination of his computer equipment found. Or the remaining 273, 36 were in the most serious category with 11 of being moving images , Mr Harley told Durham Crown Court.

Judge Soulio said Wonnocott's risk of reoffending was moderate to high but it would decrease if he was to complete at least one year of a sexual offender treatment program, and a drug treatment program with a focus on relapse prevention.

"The creation of child pornography or child exploitation material and possession of that material is not a victimless crime," Judge Soulio said.

"Children are abused, humiliated and degraded in the production of such material."

Jude Soulio said he took into consideration the number of images, their nature, age of children and the period in which offending had taken place.

"In your case, there are a significant number of children depicted, including children depicted in activities categorised in categories four and five, the most serious of the offending," he said.

"I bear in mind the issues of rehabilitation that you clearly require and the question of availability of such rehabilitation in custody … and the need for psychological treatment and drug rehabilitation."
