Radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands reacted exactly how you'd expect him to after hearing news his friend Gladys Berejiklian had found love again.
Berejiklian is dating high-profile barrister Arthur Moses, who represented her during a corruption inquiry into her former boyfriend and disgraced MP Daryl Maguire.
Sandilands, 50, was delighted to learn the notoriously privatePremier, also 50, was 'rooting' again following her split from Maguire, whom she'd dated for five years.
He was particularly amused by how Berejiklian's spokesperson chose to describe the premier's new relationship with divorced father-of-one Moses.
Kathy Hilton Reacts to Breakout 'RHOBH' Season, But Says She'll 'Never Hold a Diamond' (Exclusive)
Kathy Hilton video chats with ET about quickly becoming a fan-favorite on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'"I'm actually just seeing this for the first time," the breakout "friend of" of season 11 tells ET over video chat from her Los Angeles home, admitting she's still getting used to seeing all the memes about her (though she does enjoy them). From failing a game of "Two Truths and a Lie," to pranking her co-stars by downing faux martinis, and wandering around holding her microphone pack instead of wearing it ("It gets hot!" Kathy exclaims), fans can't get enough of the Hilton family matriarch's reality TV presence.
The representative told media outlets the pair had 'begun spending private time together' but declined to comment further.
'That means rooting, right?! They're rooting!' Sandilands said excitedly.
He added that he wasn't surprised Berejiklian fell for her lawyer, as Moses had been a pillar of strength for her during last year's ICAC inquiry.
'She was screwed over by the [George] Costanza guy [Maguire] that went out showboating, and then the hero shows up,' he said.
Sandilands' co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson then revealed another reason why Moses would have been particularly attractive to Berejiklian.
'He's a lawyer, Kyle, which means he can never talk about her. It's the perfect boyfriend. He can't talk about her publicly ever because she was a client,' she said.
Good morning, early birds. East Sydney residents have been asked to wear masks indoors and avoid gathering, and former spy Witness K has reportedly pleaded guilty to conspiring to reveal classified information over Australia's 2004 bugging of East Timor's cabinet room. It's the news you need to know, with Chris Woods. The ABC explains that NSW Police are also investigating whether a limousine driver at the centre of cluster breached testing and mask health orders, while, further south, The Age reports that a nurse worked while infectious at both a coronavirus ward at Epping Private Hospital and the nearby Northern Hospital.
'And he came in to save her from this dastardly character that she was dating before.'
Sandilands, who is one of Berejiklian's staunchest defenders in the media, gave Moses the tick of approval, saying: 'This guy looks alright.'
He also noted how balding Maguire must be seething with jealousy because Moses has such a healthy head of hair.
'That Costanza guy must be absolutely livid that this guy's got the most beautiful hair you've ever seen,' he said.
Earlier this month, Sandilands had asked Berejiklian about her love life on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, seemingly unware she was already in a new relationship.
After discussing vaccine hesitancy, Victoria's response to the Covid pandemic and the NSW paramedics strike, he couldn't resist asking the strait-laced premier if she'd 'taken another lover' recently.
'By the way, have you taken another lover yet? What's happening in that department?' Sandilands said.

Ms Berejiklian, who has a reputation for being 'married to the job', went public with Moses on Friday, after her sister Mary Berejiklian shared a photo to Instagram of the pair looking cosy and gazing into each other's eyes.
'After work Friday feels with these two. Glad and her boo,' she captioned the shot.
Moses represented Berejiklian when she faced the Independent Commission Against Corruption last year.
During the inquiry the premier revealed she'd been dating former Wagga Wagga MP Daryl Maguire for five years.
At the time, he was at the centre of a corruption probe amid claims he'd used his position for personal gain.
The bombshell confession not only shocked the public but also floored her own parliamentary colleagues.
One longtime colleague went as far as describing Mr Maguire as 'the last bloke you'd think she'd have a relationship with'.

New South Wales has recorded two new cases of Covid-19 overnight as the number of sites exposed to the virus across the state reached 35.Health officials in NSW confirmed the community infections following the 8pm cut-off on Sunday evening, along with five cases in hotel quarantine.
Not even the premier's family or closest friends had any idea about the five-year relationship, which was carried out behind closed doors until shortly before the inquiry began.
While some feared her five-year entanglement with the shamed ex-MP would derail her political career, Berejiklian emerged from the scandal relatively unscathed.
Indeed, many women felt sorry for her and argued she shouldn't have been held accountable for the misdeeds of her ex-partner.
