The Queensland councils where the rule will apply from 4pm Saturday until 4pm on Tuesday are: Brisbane City, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Noosa Shire Council, Redland City, Scenic Rim Regional Council, Somerset Regional Council and Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

  • Exercise within 10km of your home, and with only one person who is not from your household
  • Access health care, including getting a COVID-19 vaccination or test, or to provide that care to a vulnerable person

In addition:

  • Schools will be closed, except for the children of essential services staff
  • No visitors are allowed at your home
  • Any teachers and students on site at high schools will be required to wear mask
  • Funeral restricted to ten people
  • Cinemas, entertainment venues, hairdressers, gyms, places of worship will all be closed
