Incredible dash-cam video has captured the moment a beer keg slams into a car windscreen.

The driver was travelling along the M4 near Eastern Creek in Sydney's west just after 6am yesterday when they were caught off-guard by the rogue object.

The video shows the airborne barrel flying across the other side of the road before hitting the front of the car.

The video was posted on the Facebook page Dash Came Owners Australia.

A woman by the name of Carolyn Woods replied to the original Facebook post saying her father was the person behind the wheel.
