A Brisbane builder who harassed his neighbours so much that they sold their homes has been convicted of unlawful stalking.

When Steven John Tarasiuk moved into a leafy street in Indooroopilly, neighbours complained he and his tradesmen wreaked havoc. They say they were parked in, loud music and air compressors were left on all night, offensive graffiti was sprayed on walls, and rubbish was dumped on the footpaths.

Other complaints related to used toilet paper and building materials thrown into a neighbouring property, while one family’s dog was also spray-painted by someone on Tarasiuk’s building site.

Masseur who raped woman appeals sentence.
A masseur who raped one woman and sexually assaulted nine others has appealed his sentence and conviction, claiming he wasn’t given a fair trial. At an appeal hearing in the Supreme Court, Charles David Williamson’s lawyer questioned the credibility of some of his victims. “It’s shows that she didn’t make a complaint about digital penetration until six weeks after making her first complaint to the police,” said James Cremin. “One would have some difficulty in accepting that you would forget such an important part of an allegation in your first statement. And then saying, well I do remember that now.
