Dog owner charged after German Shepherd dies in locked car A man has been charged after his one-year-old dog was found dead in his locked vehicle on the north coast of New South Wales. Members of the public discovered the German Shepherd in Coffs Harbour about 2pm on Wednesday. Emergency services were then called to the Pacific Highway and found the dog in the unattended Holden utility. It is alleged the owner of the German Shepherd left him in the car for a number of hours while he attended a nearby premises. The vehicle was locked, and the dog allegedly had no access to water.

Police in Allegheny County continue to investigate the death of a man who died after being found unconscious outside his Port Vue home on New Year's Day.

A man has died after he was found unconscious at a Perth train station this evening.

The man, aged in his 50s, was found bleeding from the head on the train platform at Victoria Park just after 5pm.

He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital but police said he died shortly after arriving.
