But it was a little different on Monday night's episode of Blind Auditions, when a Grammy Award winner graced the Voice stage for an 'undercover audition'.

English singer Jess Glynne, best known for hits like 'Rather Be' and 'My Love', was touring the country when the Blind Auditions were being filmed, so she dropped into the set to try her luck with the coaches.

It wasn't long into her performance of 'I'll Be There' that Glynne, 29, scored chair turns from Boy George, Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian and Kelly Rowland, who were shocked to see the award-winning artist in front of them.

"I have to — hello, what's your name and where are you from?" teased George once her performance was done.

George went on to tell Glynne that she had inspired lots of people to try out for The Voice — in fact many people have auditioned with her songs, including Rebecca Selley, who sang 'Hold My Hand'.

Sebastian praised her voice, saying, "You sound like no one else, I love your voice."

And, of course, George couldn't resist asking which coach she would choose if she was doing The Voice for real. "Think of the queen before you answer this!" he joked.
