'He doesn't seem to understand food!' Masterchef viewers mock contestant Walleed Rasheed after he serves up the inedible part of an artichoke He faced crashing out of Masterchef Australia on Sunday night unless he could wow the judges with a venison and pomegranate sauce dish. But Walleed Rasheed drew the wrath of the show's viewers after he served up inedible plant leaves to judges Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan. Walleed, 38, failed to include artichoke hearts on his dish and put the foliage on the plate instead despite the cries of his co-star Anushka Zargaryan not to do so. 'He's got this beautiful artichoke roasted - but the next thing I see he puts the inedible part of it onto the plate,' she said.
