While her strength is increasing, not long ago the prognosis was grim for the larger-than-life reality star. In April 2018 — shortly after doing an eight-month stint in prison for bankruptcy fraud — Miller underwent emergency spinal surgery for an infection in her spine. Doctors discovered that the cancerous mass pressing on her spinal cord turned out to be Burkitt Lymphoma — a form of non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma that affects the lymphatic system.

After multiple spinal surgeries and 10 rounds of chemotherapy, Miller shared that she was cancer-free in May. But the road to recovery was hard fought.
