The couple also weathered a storm of controversy after they demolished a house in Kew East in Melbourne without proper approvals, before going on to make millions flipping houses in Melbourne.

They also run a successful business called D + D Home, combining Darren's skills as a builder and Dea's skills as an interior designer, and share two children, Scarlett, 12, and Lilly, 10.

Dea is understood to be currently living in Dandelong, while Darren remains in Melbourne.

Certainly fans were given no hint of trouble in their marriage when they appeared as mentors on The Block last month in a segment which was filming in June this year.
