She was deployed to Iraq in 2003.While in service, she claims she carried 100-pound shells for AS90 bullet tanks on her back in an attempt to “keep up with the lads,"  Kitson told SWNS, a British news agency.But over time, the heavy weight became too much, adversely affecting her spine. At 21, she left the army because of severe back pain.

Amazingly, the grandfather of production assistant Rory Gibb on the pair's new film The Gentlemen was also in the decades-old snap and so Guy, 51 and Hugh, 59, re-created it.

Ritchie ’s dad, John Ritchie , and Grant ’s dad, James Grant , served in the same regiment in Singapore, the filmmaker said on Instagram, where he posted a portrait taken of their dads and three others in the Lion City 65 years ago . The Sherlock Holmes director also included a photo of himself
