Disney Is Basically Just Trying To Make Real X-Wings For Galaxy's Edge Now

Disney Is Basically Just Trying To Make Real X-Wings For Galaxy's Edge Now Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is at the cutting edge (heh) of reality imitating fiction, with Disney spending massive sums of money on converting a little pocket of its park to looking, feeling, tasting, and smelling like it’s really a part of the Star Wars universe, only with many more opportunities to give Disney your money. But this next endeavour, as reported by TheForce.net, is taking things to a whole ‘nother level. What is Disney doing? They are currently testing two X-Wing drones the size of cars to, (emphasis mine), “fly over the land during a one-time media event scheduled for December.

Lando ' s life on Lothal would be profiled in two separate episodes of the animated series Star Wars : Rebels. Despite partnering with Rebel cells and individual Rebel agents in the early days of the war between The Rebellion and The Empire, Lando ' s concerns were personal and financial, in that order.

In the recent run of Star Wars comics, there have actually been several issues that chronicle the direct aftermath of Last Jedi. The question is , does Lando know this? Han died at the hands of his own son on Starkiller Base, Luke gave his life facing down Kylo Ren to save the Resistance on Crait, and Leia

It's been decades since Billy Dee Williams donned the swagger of Lando Calrissian, and the actor admits he had one concern before returning in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Set for global release in less than three weeks (!), The Rise of Skywalker also sees the return of director JJ Abrams as he hopes to close the sequel trilogy with a bang.

However, at the ripe old age of 82, Billy questioned his enthusiasm for the character before signing on the dotted line.

Via CinemaBlend, the legendary actor reflected: "Do I have that same hunger, excitement, that I had years earlier? This is a very difficult time for me, as far as age is concerned.

"When you get to be a certain age, whether you want to think about mortality or not, you think about it."

Meanwhile, Billy shared what he thought Lando would be up to in his winter years: "I always imagined Lando being like Steve Wynn, running Las Vegas. Because he's a gambler. But he was a bit of a showman, a bit of an entrepreneur.

"That's how I see Lando. I never necessarily saw him as a general running around shooting things."

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has a release date of Thursday, December 19 in the UK and Friday, December 20 in the US.
