Viewers tuning into last night's episode of ITV's The Chase were left impressed by one contestant's valiant efforts, with some branding him a "future chaser".

Monday night's instalment (February 17) showed four hopefuls up against Paul Sinha, aka The Sinnerman, in a bid to win the cash prize.

In for a chance to win were Mick, Roberta and Kate, who were all knocked out by the 49-year-old quizmaster, except for one - Danny.

The 22-year-old postgraduate student from Cambridge University was the last player standing, whose impressive speed and skill in answering host Bradley Walsh's questions led him to gaining £8,000 in the cash-builder round.

Even The Sinnerman was left in awe, commending Danny's efforts when he returned to his seat: "Danny, that was quite well-played, I’ll be honest with you. That was reasonably impressive.
