"Not even a foul": Glöckner complains about Hosiner's suspension

Despite the late equalizer, the 1-1 draw at KFC Uerdingen brought a bitter note for Chemnitz FC. Losing Ryan is not a step in the right direction and if youngster Chris Ray can't win the job, it could put Hawkins in the closer role. The biggest question for manager Tony LaRussa is whether or not losing good character players like Sanders and Walker will hurt team chemistry.

Good character sets the culture. Hammock pushed players out that had good character and much more will go when season is done (no, not 20 but quite a few). Now, instead of going to the next level, we are stuck rebuilding a team for the next 2 years by a guy who I am not sure can even coach let

Roberto Rodriguez and KFC Uerdingen will go their separate ways. This announced the third division club on Tuesday.

"We had very good and open discussions with Roberto and analyzed his situation and that of the club," Managing Director Nikolas Weinhart is quoted on the KFC website. "Ultimately, we came to the constructive, fair and consensual conclusion that it is better for both sides to move the originally agreed contract end by one season."

Rodriguez came to FC KFC from FC Zurich in winter 2018/19. Previously, the brother of ex-Wolfsburg player Ricardo Rodriguez had sniffed second division air at SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the second half of the 2015/16 season. Unlike the shamrock, Rodriguez developed into the undisputed regular player at KFC. He has played 30 league games so far this season, playing for Uerdingen in 43 third division games. "Roberto has always given 100 percent for the club and was an exemplary professional. We will lose a good character, which is why we only wish him the best for his future. He is always welcome with us," said Weinhart.

"It was a good cooperation with the KFC, now we are going our separate ways by mutual agreement. I wish the club all the best for the future and will always remember the time at the KFC", said the migrating Rodriguez. Where the midfielder's path leads to is not yet known.

Uerdingen is 13th before the penultimate matchday of the 3rd league, but has a seven-point advantage over the relegation zone. On Wednesday evening, the KFC visits Hansa Rostock at 7 p.m.
