Entertainment Sam Frost on 'confronting' onstage mishap on The All New Monty
Wallabies turn to former British and Irish Lion as forwards coach
Former British and Irish Lions lock Geoff Parling will be the Wallabies’ forwards coach in 2020. Brumbies boss Dan McKellar had been favoured to take the role but decided instead to focus on the Canberra-based side for the remainder of the year to manage the departure of assistant Peter Hewat. With McKellar unavailable, head coach Dave Rennie told News Corp that Parling was “the obvious choice”.
Sam Frost is used to delivering lines on the soap opera Home and Away.
But on Friday, she revealed the 'very confronting' mishap that happened while stripping down onstage for Channel Seven's charity show The All New Monty: Guys and Gals.
The 31-year-old actress told Nova's: 'I was absolutely terrified, I was shaking, I was very anxious.'
Parling named Wallabies forwards coach after McKellar pulls out
Dave Rennie wanted Brumbies coach Dan McKellar in his Wallabies set-up but has settled instead for Rebels assistant Geoff Parling.McKellar, who is hoping to lead the Brumbies to Super Rugby AU glory on Saturday in Canberra, has told Wallabies coach Dave Rennie he wants to remain in the nation's capital to work with the side's new attack coach following news that Peter Hewat has accepted a coaching job in Japan.
'I had all my colleagues in the audience and my bosses! It was very confronting!'
The blonde beauty added that she and her co-performers - including the likes of Danielle Spencer and Fiona O'Loughlin - did not have a proper run through of their routine before the show.
'They're like, 'oh don't worry, no one is going to see there's going to be smoke blah, blah, blah.''
She explained that they were told that a smoke machine would provide them with enough cover while on stage - but was rather surprised when that was not the case.
The Dogs of War mentality wasn’t intended for the board room
With the team languishing and an administration at war, perhaps Canterbury’s attempts to reinvigorate their gritty fighting culture may be better applied on-field. That’s the opinion of most judges warming their hands around the Bulldogs’ bin fire, a once-imperial brand battling to avoid a wooden spoon while its administration makes amends by indicting and/or thumping each other. For those unaware, the eight-time premiership winners are deeply entrenched in turmoil and headlines, a far cry from the days when they were deeply entrenched in turmoil and headlines and running seventh.
'Then we got there and there wasn't that much smoke and I was like, 'oh this is weird!''
Sam will also perform in the burlesque show alongside beauty queen Erin Holland, entertainer Patti Newton and former Olympian Leisel Jones.
The ladies will be joined on stage by male celebrities, including actor Samuel Johnson, former Home and Away star Orpheus Pledger and comedian Paul Fenech.
The All New Monty: Guys and Gals will see 15 celebrities in total bare all to raise awareness of early detection and prevention of cancer.
The All New Monty: Guys and Gals continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Seven

EU-UK trade talks resume under Brexit bill cloud .
Negotiators for the EU and Britain are hoping for a breakthrough in trade talks this week, despite feuding over a controversial UK bill that threatens to scupper a post-Brexit deal. Scores of officials will assemble in Brussels from Monday in efforts to forge a compromise on negotiating positions that have not budged on key areas since the talks on future relations began six months ago. Both London and Brussels say a deal on a free trade agreement must be struck by mid-October to allow time for it to be ratified before coming into force from January 1 next year.
