And in a cover story for The Sunday Telegraph's Stellar magazine this week, Jasmine Yarbrough described motherhood as the 'best thing' she's ever done.

The 36-year-old gushed over her 'angel' baby, adding that she is 'very blessed'.

When asked how she has found motherhood so far, Jasmine replied: 'It is the best thing I've ever done in my life. It is so rewarding. Harper is my angel.

In a statement to the Today show at the time, co-host Karl said: 'Harper and Jasmine are doing well and dad had a great night's sleep.'

The happy news was also announced on Weekend Today on Saturday May 2, by Karl's colleague and close friend, Richard Wilkins.
