Entertainment Jesse Williams finalises divorce from Aryn Drake-Lee, keeps nearly $1.3 million of Grey Anatomy's earnings

Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams and his ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee have finalised their divorce three years after splitting.

Williams, 39, settled with Drake-Lee, 38, on October 9 — two months after the exes were deemed "officially single".

According to court docs obtained by ET, Williams will hold on to the US$936,810 (approx. $1.3 million) he earned from Grey's Anatomy following their split in 2017.

The Grey ' s Anatomy actor split from Aryn after nearly five years of marriage. Aryn ' s lawyer, Jill Hersh, later responded to Jesse ' s claims with a statement of her own, telling Us Weekly, "Protecting the privacy and well-being of their children is of paramount importance to Aryn Drake - Lee Williams .

The actor will have to pay US$40,000 (approx. $56,023) a month in child support and will no longer be required to pay spousal support.

Drake-Lee will retain the family residence in Los Angeles and their two homes in New York and California. The exes will also keep their respective vehicles.

The former couple will continue to share joint legal and physical custody of their two children: Sadie, six, and Maceo, five.
