Actor James Stewart portrays Justin Morgan on Home and Away.

And on Wednesday, the 46-year-old actor broke character to play the biggest role of his life - doting father to his eight-year-old daughter Scout.

The actor was spotted tenderly chatting to his lookalike daughter, who he shares with Logie-winning Love Child actress, Jessica Marais.

James held hands with Home and Away veteran Ada Nicodemou as the pair acted out their scenes as they strolled along the grass.

Ada gazed at James adoringly during the scenes.

James opted to wear a plain white V-neck t-shirt along with a pair of semi-faded blue jeans. He finished his look off with a pair of tan sneakers.
