As they got on so well, the former *NSYNC singer decided to call the young actress after the do to convince her to go on a date with him. JT said: “I did it the old-fashioned way - by telephone. I had to be pretty persistent in order to get her to say yes. But I have a fair amount of tenacity and if I want something, I stick to it. And in the end, she agreed.”

It's official!
In May 2007, in a pre-Instagram world, the couple went public the good old-fashioned way: with pictures of them appearing in the media kissing. The proposal
The year 2011 ended on a high for the lovers because, in December, Justin asked Jessica to marry him at the top of a mountain in Montana. A lapse in judgement
There were rumours of trouble in paradise for Justin and Jessica, when in November 2019, photos of Justin and actress Alisha Wainwright cosying up together emerged on the internet. However, the meet up was declared innocent by other ‘Palmer’ cast and crew members. Justin stepped forward with a statement on the rumours to clarify the situation and own up to his mistakes. He posted on Instagram in December: “A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement. But let me be clear - nothing happened between me and my co-star. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behaviour. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologise to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation.”
