Burgess will face off against Phoebe and her father Mitchell Hooke today at Moss Vale Local Court in the New South Wales Southern Highlands, 130km south-west of Sydney. The level of animosity between 31-year-old Burgess and the Hooke family is finally set to be laid bare in one of the most anticipated Australian celebrity court battles in years. The footballer arrived at the historic little court house on Monday morning ready to defend himself against charges of intimidating and assaulting Mr Hooke, the grandfather of his two children.
