Princess Madeleine has recently been sharing excerpts and illustrations from her children's book, Stella and the Secret, on her Instagram page to raise awareness of the issue.

It was released in 2019 under Madeleine's maiden name, Bernadotte, rather than using her 'princess' title.

The book deals with the subject of child sexual abuse, a topic Madeleine has previously said wasn't easy to talk about.

"We wanted to reach out to the children directly, directly to the home where we know that everything starts, both good things, but unfortunately also bad things," Madeleine told Swedish magazine Mama in 2019.

"I think it is tremendously important that the children understand and respect bodily integrity, and that you don't touch people on certain parts of the body – you respect the private areas."

Proceeds of the book go directly to Madeleine's charity.
