Wayne Lineker, 58, has spent the majority of his time lately repeating that he 'only dates girls under 30'.And so viewers of Celebs Go Dating were perhaps not surprised when he said it again on Wednesday night's show - but to his date.

Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun are reportedly dating.

The 36-year-old singer - who was previously married to Deryck Whibley and, more recently, to Chad Kroeger - has fallen in love with the 33-year-old music star after working with him in the recording studio.

A source explained: "Working together has brought them closer and Avril has a history of falling for people that she works with. She falls in love with them for their musical creativity and expression.

"Her working relationships often turn romantic."

Avril and Mod have collaborated on the track 'Flames' - which features on his upcoming album - and the experience has helped to strengthen their bond.
