MAFS star insists Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson are madly in love Married At First Sight Australia season seven participant Steve Burley has insisted that controversial couple Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson are madly in love. The pair, who are appearing on the current season of the reality show, have been plagued by rumours that Bryce, 31, is 'gaslighting' and 'abusive' towards Melissa, 31. However Steve, 52, says he's such good friends with Bryce and Melissa that he joined them at Melissa's family home to watch their wedding episode air - and he has a very different view of what their relationship is really like behind the scenes.

The couple reveal there have been discussions around doing a Cam and Jules-style wedding special, and perhaps something
even more substantial.

"It'd be amazing to showcase why we love each other so much and who we are as people outside of the show because we're just two normal people, and maybe
we weren't supposed to be together but we've overcome all the odds," Melissa,
31, adds.
