Meaningful films make us feel more prepared to deal with life, study
Ohio State University researchers created two lists of films made after 1985 with high viewer ratings, one with meaningful and one with less meaningful movies. They then had 1,098 volunteers watch either the meaningful or less meaningful list of movies, before filling in a survey on their thoughts and reaction to the films.Watching meaningful films - those that we find moving and poignant - can make us feel more prepared to deal with life's challenges, the authors found.

The 'Mission: Impossible' set in Yorkshire has been plagued by trespassers trying to climb the structures on which the cast perform the stunts.The latest movie in the action franchise, 'Mission: Impossible 7', is currently being filmed in Yorkshire but the cast and crew – which includes Tom Cruise – have been disrupted by thrill-seekers trying to climb the vast quarry in which the performers act out the dramatic stunts.

It was Harry's first public appearance since the funeral of his grandfather,, last month.
The audience was filled with fully vaccinated frontline healthcare workers, and Harry, 36, praised them during his speech to the cheering crowd.
He urged people to "look beyond ourselves with empathy and compassion".
He said: "Tonight is a celebration of each of you here, the vaccinated frontline workers in the audience and the millions of frontline heroes around the world.

Hannah John-Kamen has been cast as comic book hero 'Red Sonja' in a new movie.The 31-year-old actress has been tapped to star as the comic book hero in an upcoming flick. She has previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the villain Ava Starr/Ghost in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp'.

"We cannot rest or truly recover until there is fair distribution to every corner of the world.
"The mission in front of us is one we cannot afford to fail out and that's what tonight is about.
"The virus does not respect borders and access to the vaccine cannot be determined by geography.
Leonardo DiCaprio to produce Another Round remake
Leonardo DiCaprio is set to lead the English-language remake of 'Another Round'.The comedy-drama movie recently won the Best International Feature Film gong at the Academy Awards and DiCaprio is now leading efforts to create an English-language remake.
"It must be accepted as a basic right for all and that is our starting point.
"None of us should be comfortable thinking that we could be fine when so many others are suffering. In reality, and especially with this pandemic, when any suffer, we all suffer.
