The costars shared a kiss while working on reshoots for the forthcoming flick, appearing in high spirits during the dance scene.

The upcoming movie will serve as Lin-Manuel Miranda's directorial debut, and it is set to be released to the public later this year.

Garfield was costumed in a patterned blue button-up shirt during the shoot, and he rolled up his sleeves part of the way up his arms.

The 37-year-old actor also wore a pair of vintage dark gray jeans and a set of black high-top Converse sneakers while spending time with his costar.

Tick, Tick... Boom! is based on the autobiographical musical of the same name, which was written by the late playwright Jonathan Larson, who is best known as the creator of Rent.

The feature will follow a theatre composer named Jon, played by the Hacksaw Ridge star, who approaches a midlife crisis after his dreams do not turn out according to plan before he turns 30.

The forthcoming film will also feature the talents of performers such as Vanessa Hudgens, Robin De Jesus and Bradley Whitford, who will portray Stephen Sondheim.

Development on the feature was first announced in 2018 when it was reported by Deadline that Miranda would helm the upcoming feature.

The movie's script was written by Tony-winning writer Steven Levenson, who is best known for his work on the musical Dear Evan Hansen.

The flick will also use the music that the musical's playwright originally wrote for the project.

Netflix secured the rights to the project in 2019, and Garfield's involvement was confirmed that October.

Principal photography on the feature began in March of 2020, although it was postponed the following month due to the onset of the global pandemic.

Production reconvened that October and wrapped later that year before reshoots began to take place.

The trailer for Tick, Tick... Boom! was released this month, and it was confirmed that it would make its debut both in theaters and on Netflix at some point this coming fall.
