Swiss set to reject synthetic pesticide ban

Swiss set to reject synthetic pesticide ban Switzerland seemed on course Sunday to reject proposals to make it the first European country to ban synthetic pesticides following a campaign that saw the idyllic image of peaceful Swiss Alpine pastures ruptured by fiery debates. The first popular initiative, entitled "For a Switzerland free from synthetic pesticides", called for a domestic ban within 10 years, and the outlawing of imported foodstuffs produced using such pesticides. Under the second initiative, "For clean drinking water and healthy food", only farms that do not use pesticides and use antibiotics only to treat sick animals would be eligible for government subsidies.

The first Shazam movie was released in April 2019 to glowing reviews with a 90% Fresh rating from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

It earned $140.3 million at the domestic box office and $365.9 million worldwide from a $100 million budget.

William Barr Speaks .
In the final months of the administration, the doggedly loyal attorney general finally had enough. In a series of interviews with me this spring, Barr spoke, for the first time, about the events surrounding his break with Trump. I have also spoken with other senior officials in the Trump White House and Justice Department, who provided additional details about Barr’s actions and the former president’s explosive response. Barr and those close to him have a reason to tell his version of this story. He has been widely seen as a Trump lackey who politicized the Justice Department.
