Now the state government in Baden-Württemberg also announced a corresponding offensive and will banish Microsoft 365 from its own schools. The state government in Stuttgart thus follows a recommendation of the state data protection officer Stefan Brink, whereby the corresponding components of the cloud have to be rewritten. The deceleration for the education platform, which should actually be ready for use in autumn, is estimated at one to one and a half years. Schools that already use Microsoft products may continue to do that until a total solution for the state is ready for use. Following the words of State Secretary Sandra Boser (Greens), components of other providers such as Moodle, Itslearning, Bigbluebutton, Threema and Sesame are not affected and should still be expanded perspective.
