The '9 to 5' singer, 75, joined the popular video-sharing app and shared an uplifting message in a feel-good video.

"Why hello, I guess I'm on TikTok!" Parton began her first post. "I just dropped in to say that it will be okay."

Parton then launched into song, singing to her followers, "If I can do it, so can you... I believe in you."

Hours later, her video was taken down and the account was completely wiped, with a screenshot stating the account violated "multiple Community Guidelines."

Before the account's termination, Parton had more than 680,000 followers and three million likes on the video, where she posted under the handle @itsdollyparton.

Parton's TikTok debut comes after a very eventful year for the star. She celebrated her milestone 75th birthday in January and also helped fund COVID-19 vaccine research.

"I felt like this was the time for me to open my heart and my hand and try to help," she said at the time, donating US$1 million (approx. $2 million) to Vanderbilt University.
