And Ava Hewitt looked to be the spitting image of her famous mother in a new photo the former Home and Away actress shared on Wednesday.

Bec took to Instagram to wish the pre-teen a happy birthday, posting a snap of the youngster glammed up.

Ava will likely follow in her mother's footsteps by entering showbusiness. She already made her debut on the set of Dancing with the Stars in April.

The audience jumped to their feet to applaud Ava at the end of her showcase.

Ava took a bow and quickly moved off stage to join her father, tennis player Lleyton Hewitt and her older siblings, Mia, 15 and Cruz, 12.

It's no surprise the Hewitt children started their showbiz careers young, as Bec was just five years old when she did her first TV commercial.
