Dianne Buswell has insisted that Oti Mabuse and Aljaž Škorjanec will always be part of Strictly Come Dancing, despite announcing their departures from the dance show earlier this year.

Speaking to stand-in Lorraine presenter Christine Lampard on Tuesday's show, the professional dancer, 32, explained that while it was 'really sad' to see the two dancers go, they would still 'see everyone'.

She said: 'I started with Aljaz many many years ago before Strictly, so I’ve known Aljaz and Janette for ages. To see Aljaz go is really sad.'

She continued: 'It’s like your brother is leaving, but the thing with everyone - and same with Oti - is we’re so close that we’re still going to see everyone.
