'Good Morning Britain' star Alex Beresford has married his fiancee in Majorca.
The ITV show's weather presenter tied the knot with his longtime partner Imogen McKay in a cliff-top ceremony at the Son Marroig estate on the Spanish island close to the beach where Alex proposed on New Year's Day - with the coupe exchanging vows in front of around 100 guests including Alex's son 12-year-old Cruz from a previous relationship who acted as ring bearer.
Alex, 41, told Hello! magazine: "I was blown away by the beauty of it all. One of my cousins said it was like being in a movie and it really was. It was incredible from start to finish. But most importantly, it was where I was marrying the woman I love."
Premiere Hocus Pocus 2, wonderful Sarah Jessica Parker
It has been 29 years since the original events of Hocus Pocus, and the Sanderson sisters are as bad as ever. Resurrected once again by high school students Becca (Whitney Peak), Izzy (Belissa Escobedo) and Cassie (Lilia Buckingham), Salem's terrible trio plan to wreak even more havoc-and there's only one group of high schoolers in their way
He added: "When I turned to watch Imogen walking towards me, my heart skipped a beat. She looked amazing. So classically beautiful and exactly as I’d imagined."
Imogen, 29, added: "I couldn’t wait to marry Alex. Seeing him and all our loved ones in that incredible setting made me feel so emotional."
The ceremony took place on August 19 - unfortunately falling on the same day as the funeral of Queen Elizabeth back home in the UK.
The couple decided to go ahead with their big day despite the sad occasion, and Alex revealed he started the morning by watching some of the funeral coverage on TV before focusing on the wedding.
He explained: "I woke up super early and watched the start of it [the funeral)]on TV in a café in the village. It was my way of paying tribute to Her Majesty."
