Interior spaces have been retained and restored, as well as stained glass windows, historic cabins, showers or period furniture, wood. In addition to the traditional Roman baths, a new wellness area and spa has been furnished, with sauna, jacuzzi, a cave of salt or massy showers.
The two main basins are now interconnected by new access, while outside, a new basin, fruit of proposals formulated during the public consultation, was built instead of the former car park. Two gyms and a dietary workshop have emerged in the old boiler room. The whole is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The renovation, with a cost of 40.2 million euros, was conducted by Eiffage, with Chatillon architects and TNA architects. It must make it possible to save water up to 80% and decrease the energy consumption of the building by 41%.
