It landed in Manchester Airport at 10am, just over an hour after it set off, reported the Daily Record.

A spokesperson for the airline confirmed that there were water issues onboard, which also meant the toilets were out of order.
Passengers were “well looked after”, according to the spokesperson, and then transferred to another flight to Tenerife.

Separately, an Emirates jet bound for Gatwick had to divert to Manchester due to strong winds. Flight EK15 from Dubai was due to land at Gatwick at 11.40am on 8 February, but instead landed in Manchester an hour later due to Storm Erik.
