Bill, who starred on Ali Oetjen's season of The Bachelorette last year, went on to claim that Channel 10 and Warner Bros. had simply viewed him as a 'character'.

'I'm aware now that we are all just "characters" for their show, and they need to have the same "characters" every year,' he said

On Tuesday, Bill shared a photo to Instagram of himself with fellow reality star Jamie Doran, and compared their experiences on The Bachelorette.

'They are full of empty threats, not in the history of Australian reality TV have they ever taken anyone to court for breaching their contract.'

Bill went on to say that reality shows 'portray people like us [as] whatever characters they want'.
