A young footy fan has been filmed appearing to spit from the grandstand onto seats below him during an AFL game on Saturday night.

The footage was filmed at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne and posted online on Saturday night during the Brisbane Lions and St Kilda match.

The footage shows two AFL spectators on level three of the stadium, chatting and laughing when one of them appears to spit onto the lower levels before the pair quickly flee.
