"I believe he stays in, but it's a tough call, and he's made a call the touch judge.

"I do feel sorry for him because people make mistakes all the time. Players make mistakes and this is just a mistake from the touch judge."

Coach Craig Bellamy was steely when probed by media into the incident following the match.

"I probably can't say anything," he said in his post-match press conference.

"I've only had the one look so I'm probably not the expert on it."
