Drivers are divided over a simple road rule about passing a parked car - but do you know the correct answer? Transport WA posed the question to motorists asking whether or not it is safe for a car to cross an unbroken line while a car is parked legally. 'You know the road rules – now is your chance to prove it!' they wrote. They shared an image of a black car parked legally and a blue car behind it. An arrow from the blue car indicates whether or not it can drive over the unbroken line to safely pass the black car. 'The black car is legally parked on the side of the street. Can the blue car cross the continuous white line to pass the obstruction?' the post asked.

Warning messages are normally written to sys.stderr, but their disposition can be changed flexibly, from ignoring all warnings to turning them into exceptions. The disposition of warnings can vary based on the warning category, the text of the warning message, and the source location where it is issued.

Reading (/scanning) the documentation I only found a way to disable warnings for single functions. But I don't want to change so much of the code. @MartinSamson I generally agree, but there are legitimate cases for ignoring warnings .

Motor racing's governing body ignored warnings that could have prevented the horrific crash that left Australian F3 driver Alex Peroni with a fractured vertebrae, according to one of the sport's leading figures.

Speaking to Wide World of Sports, Peter Windsor, who has worked in F1 for more than four decades, revealed the sausage kerbs that launched Peroni's car off the side of the track had been identified as a danger for F3 cars.

Peroni's car was sent airborne at Monza in Italy last month when his car hit a sausage kerb at 220km/h, flipping him upside down onto the trackside barrier. The 19-year-old told Wide World of Sports recently that the halo device that sits above the driver's head saved his life.

The following approach did not help. with warnings .catch_ warnings (): warnings .simplefilter(" ignore "). How to disable this warning ? The warnings indicate you are using keras 1.x code with a keras 2.x installation. Maybe it would be easier to fix them, instead of ignoring .

The kerbs were introduced in recent years due to the removal of gravel traps, which used to penalise drivers if they ran off the tracks.

Peroni's accident resulted in immediate calls to remove the sausage kerb – and they were removed at Monza before the F1 cars took to the track for practice just hours later.

But Windsor, whose time in F1 includes stints with both Williams and Ferrari, says the FIA should never have allowed the kerb to be used.

"The mistake Alex made, just running wide at the Parabolica corner, is a mistake many drivers make every weekend and nothing ever happens. You clatter over the kerbs and rejoin, you lose a bit of time and that's usually it," Windsor told Wide World of Sports.

"The important thing to remember here is the very big sausage kerb that launched him. For several years now, Dallara, who make all the F3 and F2 cars, had been saying to the FIA that this kerb was lethal for their cars, because they run very low to the ground.

"The response was always that the kerb was there to stop the F1 cars, and they don't have a problem with it because they run different ride heights.

"Seen in that context, the kerb should never have been there. The proof of that is that immediately after Alex's accident, even before the F1 cars ran again, they removed the kerb. That was absolutely terrible in my view.

"By the time I was 30 I'd been to 15 funerals, and all of them were young racing drivers my age. I don't want to have to go through that again. I'm a massive supporter of everything we can do to make the sport safer, but I don't think sausage kerbs are the solution."

The FIA said in the immediate aftermath of the crash there would be no knee-jerk reaction, and sausage kerbs would continue to be used at other circuits, pending a thorough review of Peroni's accident.

The governing body did not respond to requests from Wide World of Sports to discuss the issue, however at last weekend's Mexican Grand Prix it continued a trial of an electronic track limits detection system, allowing the monitoring of the issue without the need for the kerbs.

There's been a renewed focus on safety this year, with Peroni's accident coming just a week after F2 driver Anthoine Hubert was killed during the Belgium Grand Prix meeting.

The Frenchman died at the Spa circuit after hitting the barrier and then rebounding into the path of another car, with both cars torn apart by the impact.

According to Windsor, Peroni's accident, coming so soon after the tragic death of Hubert, was a stark reminder that for all the safety advances in recent years, the risk of death or serious injury remains.

This article explains these 5 ways, which are writing different code, __attribute__, _Pragma, #pragma, and command line options. TL;DR: If possible, write better code, otherwise, if possible, use __attribute__, else use _Pragma.

"I think that in turn suggests that young drivers do to some extent take modern safety for granted, because it's always been there. There's usually huge run-off areas, if they make a mistake they're not going to hit anything.

"All of a sudden you get hit by another car, or thrown into a barrier, and all hell breaks loose.

"I've always said that regardless of how safe you make cars or tracks, if there is an accident at high speed on a straight, it will be a catastrophic accident because of the speeds involved, and because generally speaking we don't have run-off areas on straights."

"If you think about the corner where Anthoine Hubert went off, he was a victim of Giuliano Alesi going through flat out and spinning, and someone else avoiding him, and poor Hubert had nowhere to go.

"It was nothing to do with him at all, but if you look at that bit of road, Alesi tried to go through there flat. In the minds of these young kids it was part of the straight, that's why that accident was so horrific. It was high-speed, flat out in top gear."

Peter Windsor will be the special guest at a fundraiser for Australian F3 driver Alex Peroni in Hobart on November 15. Details here.
