Brisbane Broncos star David Fififta, who has been dubbed as the NRL's next million-dollar man, has reportedly been detained in Bali over his alleged involvement in a brawl.

According to Channel 7, the rising NRL star was involved in a an attack on a security guard outside famous Seminyak nightspot La Favella, where Storm forward Nelson Asofa-Solomona was involved in a similar incident.

Asofa-Solomona was handed a three-game ban by the NRL recently over his involvement in a heavy brawl, after video footage emerged online showing the Kiwi star throwing a bevvy of punches outside the club.

Fifita has dominated the headlines in recent weeks over his high-profile contract situation, with the rising Broncos backrower off contract in 2021 and set to command up to $1 million a season.
