It is the fourth time Perry has carried her bat for the Sydney Sixers this season as they look to cement their spot in the finals.

Perry and Healy got off to a flying start racing to 0/72 before Healy (39) fell in the ninth over.

Perry continued to find the boundary, hitting four sixes on her way to 70*

One of her sixes was so large, it even took out the windscreen of a nearby St. John's Ambulance vehicle.

The innings continues Perry's incredible WBBL05 season where she has amassed some big numbers.

She combined with Alyssa Healy in Perth for a world-record opening partnership against the Melbourne Stars.

Her average in WBBL05 is now an incredible 117 through her seven innings.

She has scored 351 runs, a high score of 87 and has finished not out four times.

Only last year she broke the record for most runs scored in a WBBL season and she could be on track to do it again.

The Sixers defeated the Hurricanes by 39 runs after bowling Hobart out for 133 after 18 overs.

Erin Burns was the best with the ball, taking 3/5 from her 2 overs.
